New Year's Eve in Boston
Since my sister lives in Boston, I was there for July fourth 2004. Now I'm going to Boston for New Year's Eve 2004 and New Year's Day 2005. We plan to buy some first night buttons.
Basically, First Night gives you access to a range of performances in the following categories: Dance, Family Festival Performances and Exhibits, Film
Classical Music, Popular (Rock, Pop, Standards, R&B) Music, Roots (Folk, Blues, Gospel, Jazz) Music, World Music, Sculptures and Outdoor Events, Theatre, Comedy and the Spoken Word, Visual Arts and Exhibitions.
After that, we spend a bit more time with my sister and then we have to go to New York to visit Immigration who are making it extremely difficult to renew my wife's immigrant visa(green card). Then we plan to spend at least one night in New York.
We're going to New York from Boston via Amtrak. Apparently the ride is quite nice, but at $56.00 one way (off-peak) it's certainly no bargain!
Naturally I'll let you know how it goes in a few days.

Can you please let me know when new years in Las Vegas information comes up? How early can I start booking a room for 2005?
