Reuters calls Buenos Aires a gay mecca, but lists reasons for anyone to visit:

Just back from 3 weeks in Argentina. I highly recommend it as a vacation destination because of its exceptional prices, great food and wine, friendly people, and a wide range of things to see and do. We had a great time there.
