Can't trust myleisuretravel.com

Travelleisure.com made me laugh with this exaggerated description of Clinton new Jersey, a small town I lived in for 4 years. As I read the article I kept wondering what they were thinking until I got to the part about staying in the Holiday Inn Select. Recommending this hotel several times without mentioning other options makes it pretty clear that the entire misleading article is a long ad for the hotel.

Would like to go sailing some island in the Caribe. Have already been to the BVI which are wonderful! What about Belize, is it dangerous, fun?

Suneal, I'm not quite sure I understand. My intention was not to bash Clinton as it really is a nice litte town (but certainly not an exotic vacation spot).

Joseph and Kilee, you are free to leave. But if you want to read some general travel plans/ideas you won't find any site better than mine.

Petelone, I do like the Carribean but I don't sail. I've heard only good things about Belize but I've never been there.

I have been to San Padro Island Belize and can tell you beautiful waters and beaches. Food is a little pricey but I recommend the place. They have Cat day sailing adventures and parasailing. Only been there once but would go back again. Have a friend who actually lives there and he loves the place.

Clinton NJ is an incredible capsule of small town america. This is a town where the quality of life is genuine, friendly and caring to strangers.......I'm very familiar with this quaint town and find it perfect for a Northeast peaceful escape.
