Dollar Rent a Car
I always wonder how travel troubleshooters get their answers where us normal folk can not. Here's a story about someone who was badly mistreated by Dollar Rent a car and then couldn't get anyone in customer service to talk to him.
The troubleshooter got Dollar Rent a Car to admit its mistake and issue a refund, but I wonder what percentage of people like you and I would be able to get the same results.

I have major problems with Mercedes (DaimlerChrysler), were I bought an E270 under warranty. The engine almost burned off on a trip through Europe, was repaired, but Mercedes refuse to refund my expenses, and they do not respond to any of my letters, or mails... I have contacted Mercedes customer service in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Italy, and Holland, but none of them could care less what happended to me. What can I do? besides placing this story in all major news papers?
P.s. NEVER BUY A MERCEDES.
