Description of a wedding in Las Veags
It's Vegas day! While I was on the subject of the nature around Las Vegas, I figured I should share this little story about getting married in Vegas. The writer tries to make some sort of deep statement, but really it's the depiction of the wedding that's interesting. It involved Elvis and the Wedding Queen. Anyway, heres one couple's reasoning for getting married in Vegas:

They did laugh, this couple and their children and their friends and family, as Elvis finished singing, snarling and swaying. Then The Wedding Queen stepped forward.
"Well, what a joy," Charolette exulted. "What happiness has been brought to your hearts this very moment as you become husband and wife. And that's what life and marriage is all about. It's about being happy, isn't it? It's about being together and belonging to each other forever and ever."
The last senctence of your "Description of a Wedding in Las Vegas" is exactly true. My husband and I just got married in Las Vegas on Jan. 20 this year. We got married in a helicopter over the Las Vegas Strip. What a spectacular, unforgettable, happy time it was--something we and our family and friends will talk about for a long time to come. It was so stress-free and enjoyable that I would recommend it to anyone. Elvis wasn't present in the helicopter, but he was in our hearts!

Posted by: James Trotta at February 17, 2006 12:43 AMI got married at a winery buetiful but the kids full grown of my husbands bickered and spread rumors that i was after his money...and my best man had to educate them on the situation...I wish i had gotten married in veges thought of eloping and doing just that...but he wanted me to have that perfect last wedding...lol those kids are 65 and acted like children...brother
