Keep your house safe while on vacation

Since homes are more likely to be broken into while the owners are on vacation, you may want to read this article on keeping your home safe. Parents might want to make sure there kids don't set up stupid traps like I did before going on a cruise when I was nine years old. When we got home I fell victim to one of my traps, an upturned nail on the floor (ouch).

Here's an article that makes a convincing argument to visit Panama (or somewhere in South America or the Caribbean) since Europe is expensive this summer. Or you could come to Korea like one of my friends will be doing. I should have a new Korean travel plan up in a few days.

My parents house got robbed during the daytime about a month ago. It was when my sister and mother came to visit me. Somehow the burgler knew that my father was at work. The robber walked past my dog, through the sliding door, and stole my father's safe during broad daylight. I told my dad to get an alarm but he refused. I told him to get a bigger and meaner guard dog but he refused. All he did, was get a bigger safe. One that can't be picked up or even moved an inch without some type of machinery. I don't think this will solve the problem, but what can I do when he doesn't wanna take my advice.
