Are any of those favorites of yours?
why do I have to be or become a member of Mercury News to view this article?
Posted by: lynn at December 1, 2007 8:54 AMMy favorite site is www.airfarewatchdog.com.
These guys search thousands of airfares by hand every day to come up with the best possible deals. They cover all of the discount carriers as well as specials listed only on airline websites. Plus you can sign up for a daily newsletter which let's you know about the best fares from your city.
Worth checking out...

Posted by: James Trotta at December 1, 2007 11:06 AMI am a big fan of
www.Concierge.com
This site was not mentioned, but it is a very clean and user friendly travel site that should be mentioned in the same breath as these other sites. Also, I really like the newest travel site -
www.Professionaltravelguide.com
Although it is only in beta right now, the number of professional reviews and amount of destination information is amazing. It is not a transaction site, which keeps it clean and fun for travel planning.
