Cambodian bus ride
Apparently bus is not the safest or fastest way to travel in Cambodia, though it is the cheapest. By the way, the blog I link to here is from the author of this plan and this experience on my blog.

With the abscence of train service in Cambodia, I found the buses to be quite good. To see the scenery it would sure beat flying, and they seem to be on time. The service even includes snacks and bottled water. I sympathize with the driver since it looks to be a real challenge not to run over anyone on a moto, but for the passengers it is a pleasant way to travel. Personally I would not want to chance my life on a moto going to Sihanoukville. I'll take the bus.
