Ohio's Too Much Fun for Just One Day
Ohio's ad campaign for attracting tourism money will apparently include a cable TV ad featuring "Living for the weekend" by the O'Jays. I've never heard of the band or the song but the title does fit the ad campaign's motto that "Ohio's Too Much Fun for Just One Day."

Never heard of the O'Jays!!! You must not have liked the Motown/old school sound!
Posted by: Linda Bator at June 5, 2008 3:38 AMThe O'Jays is not a band. The O'Jays is an R&B group. How old are you? Never heard of the O'Jays. You must be a young white boy
Posted by: njor at June 6, 2008 3:32 AMI was just thinking the same thing Linda. How could he have never heard of the O'Jays? Even the most sheltered corniest people are usually familiar with Motown music????
Posted by: Danette Cruse at June 6, 2008 3:25 PMWell I am a 30-year-old white boy. Pretty sheltered although I do think my musical taste is fairly broad...
Posted by: James Trotta at June 6, 2008 9:56 PMI'm older than 30, very familiar with Motown, but had never heard of the O'Jays either! So, I looked it up and it seems they faded out in the early 1990's. One song was mentioned that I remember - Love Train.
